All students who wish to attend must submit an application. The early decision deadline for the CGI U 2010 application is November 20, 2009, and the final application deadline is February 1, 2010. Visit this link to learn more.

We are getting ready for the 2009 Festival of Trees and now is the time to sign up to volunteer!
The Festival of Trees will be held on November 21 and 22 at the Education Building on the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds. The Festival of Trees is a fun event for all ages but more importantly a major fundraising event for Brenner Children’s Hospital. We are very excited about this popular annual holiday event and the opportunities it allows for increased funding for Brenner Children’s Hospital’s pediatric initiatives. Volunteer participation is vital to the success of this event.
We need volunteers the week of November 17-22. Volunteers do a variety of tasks from “fluffing” trees, decorating Santa’s Room and the Gingerbread Village, to selling raffle tickets and admissions tickets, painting faces and making crafts in the Christmas Playland or even boxing up 40 7-1/2’ trees. We need lots of volunteers for the Festival!
Attached is the volunteer registration form and we hope you will send it back as soon as possible. Please feel free to pass the volunteer information along to another school organization, church group or anyone else that would like to support the Children’s Hospital by volunteering. Please know that we are extremely grateful for any amount of time you are able to volunteer.
If you have any questions feel free to contact Cindy Caines at 716-6285.
Thank you for supporting Brenner Children’s Hospital. We hope to see you at the Festival of Trees!
Every year we host one of the largest sanctioned road races in the region to raise money for our Partnership with Youth Campaign- which funds scholarships for local families and children to participate in programs such as afterschool care, swim lessons, literacy programs, summer camp, etc.
We need volunteers for this year’s race, which is partially run on the Wake Forest Campus. We need these volunteers Saturday December 5, 2009 from 6am until 1pm. We can use all the help we can get! Please let me know if you can help.
Due to the recent outbreak of the H1N1 flu, we are asking all volunteers to stay at home if you or your roommate has been ill. If you have been ill, please wait until you get better so nothing is spread. We look forward to seeing you volunteer again once you are well.
