Shelley started in July of 2009 as the new Coordinator of the Campus Kitchen at Wake Forest Univeristy. She grew up in the town of Wake Forest, NC and attended WFU as an undergrad in 2002.  Shelley recently completed her Masters in Communication at Wake in the spring of 2009.  She served as an Americorps  VISTA between undergrad and graduate school in Washington, DC with Rebuilding Together, a low-income housing rehabilitation organization.  She is fiercely passionate about Wake Forest, service, food resourcing, sustainability, and finding local and global solutions to hunger and poverty.  When she is not rescuing food from waste or working with student volunteer leaders, Shelley enjoys watching cancelled television series, reading, NPR, and the occassional craft.
